General

In Georgia, notarization is not required for wills to be considered valid. However, notarizing a will can facilitate a smoother probate process. A notarized will exempts the probate court from having to call witnesses to verify its legality. The person signing the will must be present, competent, and must provide state-approved identification. Additionally, the signer must have a full understanding of the will's contents and the implications of signing it. *SIGNER(S) MUST BE PRESENT: state issued driver's license or ID, government -issued photo ID (e.g., U.S. Passport, Military ID, etc.) (if applicable identification for required Witness(es). *MUST HAVE 2 WITNNESSES *ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE DRAFTED AND COMPLETED PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT.

We are prepared to travel 10-30 miles to a mutually agreed-upon location for the performance of notarial acts on any documents.
